Nous avons fait appel à l’entreprise BRC pour rénover entièrement notre salle de bain après un important dégât des eaux, survenu peu après l’achat de notre maison. Nous étions dans une situation d’urgence, sans possibilité d’utiliser la salle de bain, et avons choisi cette entreprise car elle était disponible rapidement. Malheureusement, notre expérience a été globalement décevante. Le délai annoncé n’a pas été respecté, et au fil du chantier, de nombreux surcoûts ont été ajoutés, remettant en question le tarif initialement très attractif. À l’arrivée, le coût final a rejoint celui des autres devis que nous avions pourtant écartés à cause du prix. Le travail n’a pas été terminé correctement. Le plombier, qui devait finaliser un petit coffrage autour des tuyaux, n’est tout simplement jamais revenu, prétextant une "panne de réveil" le jour prévu. Il n’a plus donné signe de vie ensuite. Une attitude peu professionnelle, pour le moins. Au départ, nous étions contents d’avoir une salle de bain fonctionnelle, surtout après des semaines sans pouvoir nous en servir. Mais avec le temps, les malfaçons sont apparues les unes après les autres : Des carreaux de carrelage cassés ont été tout de même posés, camouflés maladroitement avec les joints. Les baguettes de finition autour des fenêtres ont été coupées trop courtes et mal orientées, et l’erreur a été grossièrement masquée avec du silicone. Un trou reste visible derrière le sèche-serviette, laissé tel quel. Même le mitigeur de la vasque est posé de travers… En somme, une salle de bain “belle de loin”, mais “loin d’être belle” lorsqu’on regarde de plus près. Nous avons pourtant été très conciliants pendant les travaux : l’artisan venait à ses horaires, pouvait fumer dans la salle de bain, et amenait même son chien. Nous regrettons aujourd’hui d’avoir été aussi arrangeants pour un résultat aussi bâclé. Nous ne referons pas appel à BRC et déconseillons cette entreprise à ceux qui cherchent un travail sérieux et durable, surtout lorsqu’il s’agit d’un investissement aussi important.

We hired BRC to completely renovate our bathroom after significant water damage occurred shortly after purchasing our house. We were in an emergency situation, unable to use the bathroom, and chose this company because they were available quickly. Unfortunately, our experience was generally disappointing. The promised deadline was not met, and as the project progressed, numerous additional costs were added, calling into question the initially very attractive price. Upon arrival, the final cost was in line with that of other quotes, which we had initially dismissed due to the price. The work was not completed properly. The plumber, who was supposed to finish a small formwork around the pipes, simply never returned, claiming a "wake-up call" on the scheduled day. He didn't respond afterward. An unprofessional attitude, to say the least. At first, we were happy to have a functional bathroom, especially after weeks of not being able to use it. But over time, the defects appeared one after another: Broken tiles were installed anyway, clumsily concealed by the grout. The trim strips around the windows were cut too short and misaligned, and the error was crudely covered up with silicone. A hole remains visible behind the heated towel rail, left as is. Even the sink mixer tap is installed crooked... In short, a bathroom that looks "beautiful from a distance," but "far from beautiful" upon closer inspection. We were, however, very accommodating during the work: the craftsman came on time, was allowed to smoke in the bathroom, and even brought his dog. We now regret having been so accommodating for such a botched result. We will not be using BRC again and do not recommend this company to anyone looking for serious and long-term work, especially when it involves such a significant investment.
